I am convinced that being a pastor is not a stage to display my calling and position or to be boss over people. It is God’s (given by grace) purpose for my life to help lead others into a healthy relationship with Him. It is the opportunity to serve people the bread that gives real life. It is such a joy to see people growing in a healthy view of God. What a difference it makes when they find the love, acceptance and security that only Christ offers. It is always amazing to see the twinkle return to someone’s eyes as they get a taste of God’s  love. The cross is the greatest demonstration of love that the world will ever know. It also reveals what burns in God’s heart. It’s us! His heart is for people. And our heart should be for the same thing that God’s heart is for. People are what’s important to God, and should be what ministry is about.
